TASS: Vladimir Putin instructed the Government to stimulate companies to introduce domestic developments in the field of AI
The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin following the results of the conference on the development of artificial intelligence held on December 12, 2020, instructed the Government to take measures to stimulate companies to introduce domestic inventions in the field of AI.
The Cabinet also has to ensure the adoption of laws «providing for the opportunity to establish experimental legal regimes in certain economy sectors and in the social sphere in order to expand the use of AI technologies». Furthermore, Vladimir Putin tasked the Government to amend the laws to allow organizations - developers in the field of AI - to gain access to datasets, including state information systems and the right to use them «provided that the protection of personal data rules are observed».
