TASS: A register of pharmaceuticals will be created in Russia in 2021

According to Grigory Ivliev, the head of Rospatent, at a briefing on the results of the Collegium of the Office, a register of pharmaceuticals indicating the rights to pharmaceutical products or medicinal preparations is planned to be created in Russia in 2021. The pharmaceutical register is supposed to include information about the active substance and existing patent rights to it, the data of the patentholder, issued licenses.

The possibility of including in the register the information on medicinal products containing an active substance is also being discussed. The main purpose of the registry is to facilitate law enforcement when the patent rights need to be observed in the circulation of pharmaceutical products.
