Rospatent issued three patents to the Scientific Center for Biomedical Technologies of the FMBA of Russia within the scope of the development of a preparation for coronavirus (COVID-19) "Leitragin". In addition, three more applications for products containing hexapeptide are pending at Rospatent. International applications have been filed. Rospatent, like the leading Patent Offices of the world (China, South Korea, Japan), back in April launched a project for priority consideration of applications for inventions designed to control viruses and concomitant diseases (pneumonia). This gives the medical community quick access to the latest developments and innovations identified in patent applications. The accelerated data exchange with the world Patent Offices allows consolidating international efforts to control viral infection", commented Grigory Ivliev, head of Rospatent.
