The President signed the law on «digital sandboxes»

Special legal regimes, or «digital sandboxes», will begin to operate for the development and implementation of digital products. The respective law was signed by Vladimir Putin. The law will affect the application of innovations in all spheres of the economy, but medicine, transport, agriculture, the financial sector, government and some others spheres are identified as key ones for testing. The law will come into force at the end of January 2021. Until that time, an assessment of the risks of applying such legal regimes will be carried out with the involvement of branch-specific authorities.
