Rospatent named the most interesting inventions to combat COVID-19
Deputy Director of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property of Rospatent (FIPS) Ms. Tatyana Erivantseva stated during the press conference «Year of fight against COVID-19: the most significant Russian inventions» that seven patents were granted for vaccines against coronavirus: three to the Gamaleya Center, four - to the Research Center «Vector». In addition, patents were granted for drugs for the treatment of coronavirus, diagnostic and test systems, as well as for disinfectants and personal protective equipment. The largest number of applications came from individuals, mainly for disinfectants and personal protective equipment. In second place are companies specializing in drugs for the treatment of coronavirus. In third place are scientific organizations, their projects are the most complex and interesting.
