Parlamentskaya gazeta: Russia and Norway will develop scientific and technical cooperation

The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin approved a draft agreement on scientific and technical cooperation between Russia and Norway.

>The document defines the goals, principles and forms of joint operations, regulates individual issues of intellectual property protection and establishes the dispute settlement procedure. The document establishes joint research, provision of wide access to scientific materials, organization of symposiums and seminars, more active involvement of universities in bilateral initiatives. In addition, it is planned to stimulate the scientific staff exchange, in particular, young specialists. The agreement is valid for five years, with possibility of automatic prolongation unless one of the parties announces its withdrawal.
