The pandemic fell at the peak of inventive activity in Russia, significantly slowing it down during the period of self-isolation. However, as the restrictions were lifted, the number of applications filed with Rospatent began to grow again. What are the most unusual inventions the Russians wanted to patent this year, when it will be possible to obtain a patent for a 3D-model of the invention, how many kilograms of papers are analyzed daily by employees of the Office and how blockchain helps to reduce the processing time for applications - the head of Rospatent Grigory Ivliev answered these questions in his interview to RIA Novosti.
