Russia proposes to tighten control over the preservation of special properties related to regional brands

According to the deputy head of Rospatent Lyubov Kiriy at the "round table" in Moscow State Law Academy named after O.E. Kutafina, Rospatent has developed a draft Resolution on the approval of the control procedure for the preservation of the special properties related to the regional brands, as well as for their distribution market. The document provides for, at non-compliance with manufacturing technology, revocation the rights to product marking. At the stage of unique goods manufacturing, scheduled and unscheduled inspections are planned with the involvement of Roskachestvo experts.
