Winners Named in the World Innovation Forum

The International Innovation Club Archimedes and the Committee on Inventions, Rationalization, Patents and Licenses of the League to Support Defense Industry Enterprises organized a joint exhibition of Russian innovations at the World Innovation Forum, which took place on 14 and 15 October 2020.

Inventors from 25 countries participated in the Forum, and the Russian participants won 10 silver and 24 gold medals.

The decision of the international jury was as follows:

• Forum Grand Prix went to the Belgorod State National Research University;

• Medal for the Best Invention of the International Federation of Inventors went to the Tver State Medical University (method to perform oncoplastic resection of the breast in case of the central and medial localization of a tumor);

• Special Prize for the Best Invention in the field of Youth Scientific and Technical Creativity went to the Junior Academy of Sciences (Republic of Crimea);

• Special Prize for Set of Submitted Projects went to the Volgograd State Agrarian University; and

• Special Prize for Set of Submitted Projects went to the Kuban State University.
