The Government of Russian Federation introduced to the State Duma a bill on the right to obtain patents in electronic form

The Government of the Russian Federation introduced a bill to the State Duma that will allow copyright holders to obtain patents in electronic form and will also make it possible to attach three-dimensional (3D) models to the materials when registering intellectual property. The bill proposes to issue security documents in electronic form, while retaining the ability of the applicant to receive them at will on paper, with the exception of a patent for a secret invention.
