INNOVATION:

Diagnosis and treatment of cancer is a serious public health problem: it is important to detect and recognize cancer in time. Well-known medicine for diagnosis and treatment contains radioactive elements that allow to see the tumor, but also negatively affect healthy cells, and tissues receive some dose of radiation.

The synthesized new chemical compound in complex with the radioactive element lutetium can selectively bind to cancer cells without accumulating in healthy tissues. The resulting medicine has low toxicity and can be used at a lower dose for diagnosis and treatment of tumors.

OF APPLICATION:

organic and medicinal chemistry, oncology. The proposed solution is especially relevant in the terms of import substitution.
