PURPOSE:

INNOVATION:

Self-help activities by soldiers with injuries and fractures of limbs reduces the number of deaths. However, the known techniques require special training and in most cases are not suitable. Some of them are used only when small vessels of the hands and feet are damaged, while more serious injuries require sufficient effort to tighten the harness.

The proposed method enables quick and effective self-help with the use of uniform elements. The elements of the soldier's combat outfit, hidden in the folds of sleeves and pants in the off-duty position, are used as set up binding elements. In case of injury, the victim can independently open the textile valve above the bleeding and use the tape to tighten the ring of the constricting element, fixing it with a clasp, thereby reducing bleeding.
