PURPOSE: |
For cooling the turbocharger of a diesel engine during its operation in various climatic conditions. |
INNOVATION: |
Diesel engines are operated under significant stress associated with increased pressure of the fuel-air mixture inside the combustion chamber, which is why significant requirements are placed on the strength and quality of the manufactured parts, particularly the turbocharger. To solve the problem of insufficient heating or excessive overheating of the turbocharger components of the diesel engine, which leads to accelerated wear, cracking, as well as the coking of the remnants of lubricating oil, an additional casing is proposed to be installed on the turbocharger housing, forming an air channel, which provides both accelerated heating and cooling of turbine parts. The use of the proposed solution provides an optimal temperature regime for the turbocharger, which increases both its operational reliability and the overall engine reliability. |
SCOPE OF APPLICATION |
The invention can be used as a component part within the framework of import substitution in the production of diesel engines for various vehicles with a long service life, in particular in construction and agricultural machinery. |
