PURPOSE:

Physical and chemical cleaning of internal surfaces of technological equipment of gas pumping units with no need to open the casing and dismantle the replaceable flowing part.

INNOVATION:

The gas industry is facing a number of technical challenges, including maintaining the operability of equipment and reduce downtime due to repairs. During operation of the gas pumping unit, mechanical impurities accumulate on the internal surfaces of its centrifugal blowers, which can cause accidents.

The inventors propose a method for cleaning the internal surfaces of centrifugal blowers in two stages. At the first stage, the adhesion of the sediment layer to the metal is weakened by wetting them with a washing solution obtained experimentally. Then the "idle" mode is started, during which the deposits are cleared by centrifugal forces. This allows to get rid of contamination in a timely manner without disassembling the structure, significantly reduce maintenance time, prevent possible emergencies and avoid expensive repairs.
