Department for Control, Supervision and Legal Protection of State Interests
Department for Control, Supervision and Legal Protection of State Interests is the structural unit of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, responsible for coordination, organization, information and methodological support of control in the field of legal protection and utilization of the results of scientific and technical activity, funded by the federal budget, as well as the monitoring the observance of the interests of the Russian Federation and Russian natural and legal persons when allocating the rights to such results.
Department for Control, Supervision and Legal Protection of State Interests comprises the following Divisions:

The Head of the Department is appointed and dismissed by the Head of Rospatent.
The Department is headed by Liudmila Speranskaya and her Deputy Elena Simukova.
