Born on October 1, 1985 in Smolensk Oblast.
Has a higher education. In 2008, Ms. Galkovskaya graduated from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University with specialty in Flight Dynamics and Motion Control of Aircraft.
In 2009 she graduated with honors from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University with specialty in Jurisprudence.
In 2011, she graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (the University) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation with the degree of Master of Jurisprudence with knowledge of a foreign language with specialty in “Jurisprudence”.
In 2013, she completed the advanced education courses at the Lomonosov Moscow State University “Training program for prospective reserve level of managerial personnel”.
She studied at the postgraduate program of the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property with specialty 12.00.03 “Civil law; business law; family law; private international law”.
She has completed a number of foreign expert internships in the field of patent law.
Ms. Galkovskaya started her career in August 2008 as a state examiner of intellectual property in the Federal Institute of Industrial Property.
From March 2009 to July 2019, she worked as specialist, principal specialist and Head of Division in the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent).
From January 2017 to July 2019, she worked as Deputy Head of Legal Department – Head of Division of Rospatent.
From July 2019 to July 2021, she worked as the Head of the Chamber of Patent Disputes of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property.
On June 2021 she was appointed as Deputy Head of Rospatent.
