Oleg Neretin: FIPS should become a leading center of competence in the field of intellectual property management
At the meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS) on 10.07.2020, the FIPS Development Program for 2020-2024 was discussed, as well as proposals for improving methodological approaches to the formation of monitoring indicators in the field of intellectual property (IP), recorded in key strategic documents and programs of scientific and technological development. The Director of FIPS Oleg Neretin presented the main directions of the Program: ensuring FIPS leading positions in the Eurasian space, promoting the interests of the Russian Federation in the field of IP at the global, regional and national levels, as well as developing FIPS as a leading center of competence in the field of IP management. The meeting participants spoke about the content of the program and agreed that it is strategically important and reflects the global evolution of the entire IP sphere.
