International Trademark Applications under the Madrid System Will No Longer Be Accepted by E-mail after 11 January 2021

Since 1 December 2020 applicants have had an opportunity to file their international applications under the Protocol to the Madrid Agreement on the International Registration of Marks through the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS) website.

Applicants are now requested to use the FIPS Personal Desk for international trademark applications under the Madrid System (available in Russian). The applicants will receive all the related correspondence through their account unless an applicant has submitted a written request for correspondence to be sent in paper through the postal service.

Since the Personal Desk is put into operation, we will no longer accept the filing of international trademark applications by e-mail (fips_Madrid@rupto.ru) starting from 0:00 on January 11, 2021.
